This is my second submission for the art exchange. I recently got a new electric guitar and I'm excited to have something that can play melodies without sounding out of tune. It allows me to do more stripped down tracks like this. I'm excited to see where I can go with this.
lyrics
Take all you can away from me.
Bind my tongue and eyes, just let me breathe.
All that I am will rise up again.
The echoes of every person I've been.
Too many to disregard or believe
And I will smile with broken teeth.
Oh, please.
Cast me out among your refugees.
Tie my hands and feet, just let me breathe.
And all that I've owned or let weigh upon me
Will leave me and finally allow me to see
That I have loved you unpassionately.
And I will cry myself to sleep.
