I've been behind on the art swap for a bit, but here's a new one. My goal was to have a song with significant background noise. I'm not sure if that's the right way to put it, but I wanted to see what would happen if I put things in there that weren't just the instruments. I really like it so far! I hope to go forward with more intention regarding the sounds I'm sampling and how they can elevate the song. Here's to a life of going around and recording everything.
lyrics
This is not quite as simple as it seems.
I would not be awake if not for dreams.
Of old hands trembling
and endless quickening.
Eyes are on all your neighborhooded screens
I would choose me a different set of genes.
Hand, nail, and key.
Flint, mind, and tea.
